Sunday Elite 8 Play of the Day

North Carolina

Let's see if I can keep this up.  2-0 yesterday with Arizona and Butler.

I'm not sure why North Carolina is getting 1.5 points from Kentucky, but I'll take it.  After all, the Tar Heels are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 NCAA Tournament games.  UNC beat Kentucky back in December and their only loss in their last 13 games was to Duke.  Harrison Barnes is proving to be a force and a team leader here down the stretch.

It has to be the Tar Heels day.

As far as Kansas and VCU.  I like Kansas to win the game, but based on how this tournament is going I like VCU getting the 11 points.

VCU's run will come to an end, but they will cover with the 11.

Saturday NCAA Elite 8 Play of the Day

Arizona

Hmmmm... Arizona getting 2.5 points.  I love it.  I think the road for UCONN comes to an end today.  Arizona has found its game and they way they beat Duke, there appears to be no stopping them, at least in this round.

The Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog and an even more impressive 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS win; showing they build on impressive wins.  That is a must in the tournament.

UCONN has played 8 games in 13 days.  They are tired.  I see Arizona taking control in the second half and pulling away with the win.  So you might want to look at the moneyline in this games as well.

In the other game:

I can't go against Butler.  They are getting 4 from Florida.  The Gators are more athletic, talented and may have the best player on the court in Erving Walker.  Still, take Butler and the 4.

So today's picks are Arizona and Butler.
