College Football Bowl Play of the Day: GoDaddy.com Bowl

After all the NFL action is complete today, we get the GoDaddy.com Bowl.

Arkansas State and Northern Illinois.  Bonus points if you can name more than one player on either team.

NIU is getting a point and half, so it's just about a pick.

Arkansas is really coming into this game on a roll.  they have won 9 straight.  Northern Illinois has won eight straight, but have had some close games in that stretch.

Look for a close game with Arkansas State pulling it out by 4 pts in the end.

Take Ark. State and give the 1.5 pts.

College Football Bowl Play of the Day: BBVA Compass Bowl

Pitt and SMU in today's BBVA Compass Bowl.

Besides the NFL Playoffs, this is the other game on today.

Pitt is giving SMU 3.5 points, even though Pitt has a coaching staff in transition.  How will it affect the players and play on the field, I don't think that will be a positive.

SMU started off the season hot and June Jones is hoping this games makes it a strong finish.

It's going to be close, so take SMU and the points.  Should be a FG game.

College Football Bowl Play of the Day: Cotton Bowl

Kansas State and Arkansas in tonight's Cotton Bowl.

All you have to know is Arkansas is giving Kansas State 9 points.

That's too many points to a Bill Snyder coached team.  Take K-State and the points.

College Football Bowl Play of the Day: Orange Bowl

It's Big East vs. ACC in the Orange Bowl.

West Virginia vs. Clemson.

This game looks like kind of a letdown after a great slate of BCS games so far.  Both teams are coming off wins.  Clemson was impressive over Virginia Tech and West Virginia took care of South Florida.

Oddsmakers have Clemson favored by 3 and I love that.  Tajh Boyd quietly threw for 31 TDs this season leading the Tigers.  Look for Boyd to have a big game on this national stage.

Clemson will outscore West Virginia and win by 9.

College Football Bowl Play of the Day: Sugar Bowl

After a day of exciting games on Jan. 2, we get the Sugar Bowl tonight and it could be another close one.

Michigan and Virginia Tech, with Michigan coming in a quite a roll.  They've put points up in bunches against every team recently other than Iowa.

But now they are playing a Frank Beamer team and he's had time to prepare.

Virginia Tech is getting 3 and Beamer has to relish being the underdog. 

Look for Virginia Tech to be well prepared and to force turnovers and make a big play on special teams. 

Take the Hokies and the 3 points in the Sugar Bowl.
