College Football Bowl Play of the Day: Independence Bowl

The historic Independence Bowl in Shreveport today with North Carolina taking on Missouri.

There is a good chance of rain as the game starts today, so the field might be a mess.

Missouri is giving the Tar Heels 5.5, and I think they want to send a message as they leave the Big XII and head to the SEC.

The Tigers are led by quarterback James Franklin and are on a 3-game winning streak.

Missouri is also 6-2 ATS in its last eight games on grass, leading me to say you should give the 5.5 to Carolina and take Mizzou.  Could be a good game with Missouri pulling away at the end.

College Football Bowl Play of the Day: Las Vegas Bowl

A one-loss Boise St. team takes on Arizona State in Las Vegas.

Boise is 8-2 ATS in their last 10 bowl games and I'm not sure where Arizona St. will be mentally at this point.

Give the 14 and take Boise for a big win.

Saturday's College Football Play of the Day: Houston

The Conference USA Championship featuring Southern Miss and Houston.

How can you go against high scoring Houston and their star quarterback Case Keenum today?

Well you can't, so give the 13 and take Houston.

Hurry to get those bets in.

Saturday's College Football Play of the Day: Baylor

Texas Tech comes into Baylor the losers of four straight games.  Look for it to be five Saturday night.

The only question is whether Baylor and Robert Griffin III will cover the 13 points.

Baylor is 7-1 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and will cover the 13 and then some.  Baylor goes to 8-3 and Griffin III has another big game.

Take Baylor.

Friday's College Football Play of the Day: LSU

I'm surprised to see a lot of people wanting to take Arkansas in this game.

LSU is at home and giving 12 to the Razorbacks.

I can't go against Les Miles and the No. 1 Tigers.

The Tigers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite of 10.5 or greater.

The LSU defense is too strong and Arkansas, although a good team, is a notch below LSU.

Take LSU and give the 12.  Should be a fun game to watch.
