Saturday's College Football Plays of the Day

First up today is Ohio State.

The annual Ohio St./Michigan game.  Ohio St. is favored by 16.5 and they are at home.  This isn't even going to be a game.  Ohio St. turns it on, and in a big way, they win by 3+ touchdowns.

A second game to play today is Stanford,

The Stanford Cardinal is at home and favored by 13 over Oregon St.  Stanford is 8-3-1 in their last twelve when favored by more than 10 pts.  They also are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 games after accumulating more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game.

This will be a big win for Stanford.  Good luck today.

Alabama and Oregon

Some good games to watch while you think about which Thanksgiving leftovers to eat on Black Friday.

No time to hit the malls with these games.

Auburn at Alabama.  The Tide is playing for pride at this point.  Auburn is playing for a spot in the BCS.  Alabama is favored by 4 and I think they will cover.  The Tide are 7-1 in their last eight games ATS as a home favorite.  Couple that with Auburn being 1-5 ATS in their last six road games as a dog.  I like Bama to win by 9-10 points.  Roll Tide!

Arizona at Oregon.  Two ranked teams here, but playing at Oregon makes all difference in the world.  Oregon is favored by 19, but there are 4-0-1 ATS in their last five home games.  Oregon will be clicking and they will open up the offense to win by more than three touchdowns.  The Quack Attack is back!

Maybe a bonus Friday night pick at some point on Friday.  Hint:  Boise St.

11/20/10 College Football Play of the Day: Northwestern

I didn't go to Northwestern, but I could've.  I still always root for Northwestern Football.

Today the Wildcats are taking on their instate rival in Illinois at Wrigley Field of all places.  It's the first college football game at Wrigley since the 1930's.  ESPN is even there with Gameday this morning.

I love Northwestern getting 8 points today.  Yes, they lost their starting quarterback last week, but I think this team will put together.  I like them possible to win straight up, so getting the 8 points is welcome bonus.

In their last 10 meetings, Northwestern is 8-2 ATS over The Illini.  Illinois is also 6-15 ATS their last 21 games on grass.  This all means another exciting Northwestern win today.  Take the Wildcats and enjoy the game at Wrigley.

11/13/10 College Football Plays of the Day: WV and Okie St.

Two great plays today to go along with my Boise St. winner last night.

The first has to be West Virginia.

The Mountaineers are favored by 5 over the Bearcats of Cincinnati, and they still have a chance to win the Big East.  (Whatever that means) WV is also 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a bye week.

Take West Virginia with an easy win.

The second pick today is Oklahoma State.

Oklahoma State is having a great season at 8-1.  Who would've thought Texas would be 4-5 at this point with losses to Iowa State, UCLA, and Baylor?  Isn't Texas supposed to own the Big XII?

The trends say Okie St. is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games, and 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven road games.  Texas keeps getting worse and worse each week.  Oklahoma St is giving 5 on the road, it won't matter.  Take the Oklahoma State Cowboys!
