"Soundtrack of Summer Tour" Comes Through Alpharetta

Hard pressed to better than Dn Felder, Foreigner, and Styx when it comes to the number of hits you can hear in one night.

So an enjoyable evening was had at the "Soundtrack of Summer Tour" at Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre in Alpharetta GA on Saturday, May 24.

Here are two of my favorites of 2012.

Don Felder's Road to Forever

Music legend Don Felder spent 27 years with the Eagles.  He co-wrote 'Hotel California" and now has a solo album out.  It's great.  If you like the Eagles, you will love this solo effort.

The Villains' Velocity

This fast rising band out of Atlanta, GA is on the verge.

This album is getting some great air play and The Villains spent most of 2012 opening for Little Feat.  Some great songs and lots of talent in this band.

Order Don Felder's 'Road to Forever'

I get to talk with musicians and bands all the time, it's not often I get to talk with a musician the level of Don Felder.

Felder is the former guitarist for the Eagles and co-wrote "Hotel California."

I had a chance to talk to him as he has a new solo album out.
