My Final Four Picks

How about some picks for the NCAA National Semifinals.

First up, UConn and Florida.

I don't think UConn can stop the Gators from scoring and if the Huskies aren't perfect on offense, they will get beat by 10+ points. Take Florida.

The a more intriguing game in Kentucky and Wisconsin.

It's a game of contrasts, but if Kentucky's talent keeps playing like they can, it's going to be Vlue winning the game and setting up an all-SEC fian lgame on Monday night.

So your winners are: Florida and Kentucky

'Big' Final Four Comes to North Texas

The NCAA Final Four returns to North Texas for the first time in decades — bringing what’s expected to be a record crowd — there will be more winners than the athletes on the court.

It will be "big."

Fan spending is estimated to exceed $140 million in Dallas and Arlington as more than 80 percent of the hotel rooms in the two cities fill with out-of-state visitors and as restaurateurs savor a double-digit increase in business.

AT&T Stadium will hold more than 85,000 fans and there will be more than 19,000 credentialed attendees.

The economic impact report pegged the total spending in Texas “associated with” Final Four visitors at $275.88 million.

Like I said, "BIG."
