Dianna Agron on the Cover of Cosmo

Dianna Agron, who plays a cheerleader named Quinn Fabray on the hit Fox musical comedy-drama series, was spotted on Thursday by PEOPLE magazine sporting the grungy new look as she got into her Audi in Los Angeles.

And while the 25-year-old star’s latest hair-hue look is definitely edgy, she recently revealed in September’s Cosmopolitan that she wants to be taken seriously.

In the magazine, which Agron graces the cover of wearing a sleeveless white dress and sporting her previously blonde shaggy bob, the actress comments that unlike some of her peers, she wants to be known for her talents.

According to Agron, the moment you let the media press too far into your personal life, that goal becomes unobtainable.
“It’s really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan. She’s an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life. They start not being able to look at you the same way professionally. I don’t want that to happen to me.”

Jane Lynch to Host Emmy Awards

Organizers announced Thursday that Lynch would host the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards, airing live from Los Angeles on Sept. 18.

Lynch, a veteran comedic actress now best known for portraying the take-no-prisoners cheerleading coach on TV hit Glee, said she was "tickled pink" by the hosting gig.

"I'm looking forward to singing, dancing and sporting my finest tracksuit," she said in a statement, referring to her character's preferred garb.

Prolific film and television star Lynch took part in past Emmy host Jimmy Fallon's pre-taped and live opening number for the 2010 ceremony, at which she later earned an Emmy for best supporting actress.  She also won a Golden Globe for the role.

"Jane was my first — and only — choice as the host," said reality TV guru and Emmy executive producer Mark Burnett.

"She has incredible comedic timing and is a charismatic, talented actress whose energy leaps off the screen and stage."

Emmy nominations will be announced July 14.

Lea Michele and Another Racy Magazine Cover

You'll be seeing her singing at the Super Bowl, but you can see a lot more of Lea Michele on the current cover of Cosmo.

On the March cover of Cosmopolitan, the Glee star, 24, shows skin in a black top with a neckline plunging nearly to her belly button. And parents, whose children are fans of the Fox hit about a high school vocal club, are none to pleased with the pics.  They need to get a life.

Cosmo shot back:

"We're thrilled to feature Lea Michele on the March cover of Cosmopolitan and think she looks stunning," a rep told Fox News in a statement. "Michele is a grown woman and Cosmopolitan is a magazine is for adults."

Is the 'Glee' GQ Cover Too Racy?

You decide.

A steamy spread in the new GQ featuring the cast of the hit high school musical show “Glee” is causing a firestorm with one parent group that says it “bordered on pedophilia.”

The Parents Television Council is attacking “Glee” producers for allowing their cast, who portray high school students, to do the sexy shoot, which features the female stars dressed and posed provocatively.

GQ editor-in-chief Jim Nelson points out that Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith and Lea Michele, the actors featured in the spread, are all well above the age of consent!

“These ‘kids’ are in their 20s,” Nelson said. “Cory Monteith’s almost 30! I think they’re old enough to do what they want.”

I have to agree.  What I also have noticed is this show keeps getting a little more "adult' each and eery week.  The show is too good, they don't need to head in that direction.

Britney Spears = Ratings for Glee

Britney Spears apparently is still popular and moves the meter.

Tuesday's episode that featured the star in some dream-sequence cameos drew an estimated 13.5 million viewers. The Nielsen Co. says it was the second most-watched episode of the show ever, behind last spring's return from a hiatus.

That's also an increase from the 11.1 million people who had tuned in to the "Glee" season premiere a week earlier. Spears was also a trending topic on Twitter during the telecast, exemplifying one of TV's biggest new trends: viewers using social media to correspond with friends while watching.

The show's cast performed five Spears songs during the episode, including "I'm a Slave 4U" and "Stronger."
