iPad Free App of the Week: NFL '11 for iPad

Just updated and ready for the NFL Draft.

With the NFL regular season still a few months out, hopefully — NFL 2011 for iPad is mostly focused on the upcoming Draft, which begins on Thursday, April 28th and goes through April 30th. The app will allow you to watch live video coverage of the Draft, review which positions your team needs the most help at, view detailed breakdowns of each player drafted, and set alerts for when your favorite team is on the clock.

Besides Draft coverage, the app also allows you to read general NFL news and news related to your favorite team, view the entire NFL schedule and team schedules, and view statistical breakdowns of each matchup.

If there is a regular season, the NFL has promised much more content via updates, which hopefully includes features like game highlights, Fantasy Football integration, and roster breakdowns.
