Tech Accessory Holiday Gift Idea Day 18: Bloxstones (iPad Stands)

One of the coolest iPad or tablet stands I've come across.

These are wood stones in the raw, you can enjoy the same creative outlet we do without all the sawdust. These are pre-cut, pre-shaped, sanded silky smooth and ready for your special finishing treatment.

A stone in the raw makes a great gift for the artists in your life, or finish it yourself and gift it as a OOAK for that special someone who is never without their tablet. Whether its simply for you to enjoy, or to share, let inspiration prevail and pick up a stone in the raw today.

They are so attractive and very handy.

Stone in the raw is made from reclaimed select spruce. We also include a helpful hints guide for getting the perfect finish and instructions for photo submissions.

Compatibility: iPad/iPad2/iPad3/iPad Mini

Weight: 1lbs

Dimensions: 6 x 3.5 x 1.5"

Each Bloxstyle product is individually handcrafted, please allow for slight variations in size, grain patterns, and color. Please see our "FAQ" for more information.

I found these on Etsy.  Contact Bryan at Bloxstones, and I'm sure he will be happy to help you.

His store on Etsy is called Bloxstyle, and he makes all sort of cool stuff.

iPad Stands With a Speaker Part 2

With all the Green Bay Packer and Super Bowl excitement, I neglected to get part 2 of my iPad stand review out for GZ Tablet Stand's new and improved iPad stand.

As you can see, their new iPad stand has the speaker placed in the rear of the stand and it is actually anchored by a small magnet.

The original stand had the speaker in from of the iPad screen, making it difficult to reach over and touch the iPad's screen.

Notice the speaker placed behind where the iPad will sit on the stand.

The iPad rests nicely in its slot and the same great sound coming out of the Altec speaker can be heard anywhere in the room.

Get this handy and attractive stand from GZ Tablet Stands.

There were available on Ebay, but now they are on Etsy at
