Maryeve Dufault: From Maxim to Daytona

Danica Patrick look out.  There is a fresh new female face in NASCAR.

Maryeve Dufault is on your heals and she brakes for nobody.

Just because she got her start on "The Price is Right", moved to Maxim Magazine and now is getting ready for Daytona means she can race? Doesn't it.

We'll she can and she can't wait to prove it.

“When you start really young in racing, you’re not really fearful,” said Dufault of topping speeds up to 193 MPH. “Because if I was scared of speed, I wouldn’t be here today. On the freeway, everyone is driving about 100 MPH, and you don’t feel like you’re going that fast. To me, going on the racetrack is like going on the freeway–everyone goes the same speed.”

Growing up in Canada. she got her start in motocross at the age of four, moved to ARCA, then on to California in 2000, where she landed a job as a model on “The Price is Right,” despite her shaky grasp of English.

Dufault used the money she earned in modeling and winning contests like the Hawaiian Tropic Bikini event to fund her racing career.

"Basically, I did modeling on the side, like an actor would work in a restaurant. But modeling pays much better money than working in a restaurant,” Dufault explained.

Dufault is now gearing up to race in Daytona in a couple of weeks, the recently single Maxim model is ready to mingle. “I really like athletic guys, people with a lot of energy and ambition,” she said. “Chemistry is important, too.

On and off the track.

Snake Bites Model's Breast and Dies

A big-breasted Israeli model, Orit Fox got more than she bargained for when a massive boa constrictor used as a prop during a photoshoot did what snakes do when provoked, and bit her in the breast.
However, it was the snake who came off worse because, while Ms Fox needed only medical attention.

As she maneurvered the animal into position for the 'kiss' Ms Fox loosened her grip on its neck, and after being licked the reptile reacted angrily.

It aimed straight for Fox's prized assets and sunk its teeth deep into her left breast.

She let out a high-pitched scream, as did a voice off camera who appeared to be directing the shoot.
An assistant rushed in to help her pull the snake off and after a few seconds of struggle the creature released its grip.

The peroxide-blonde model was rushed to a nearby hospital and given a tetanus shot.

However, the snake wasn't so lucky and died from silicone poisoning.
