Week 15 NFL Play of the Day: New England

The New England Patriots travel to Denver to take on Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos today.

I have to believe that Tom Brady, Wes Welker and Bill Belichick and company want to put a hurting on the upstart Broncs.

The Broncos are even getting 7.5 pts at home, but it won't be near enough.

The players, cheerleaders and coaches will all have to be "Tebowing" for Denver to stay in this one.

Take New England and give the 7.5 today.

Week 11: NFL Play of the Week

The New England Patriots

The Patriots take on a battered Colts team at 4:15 today.  The Colts have been decimated by injuries and the Patriots may be finally hitting their stride.

The Pats are only giving up 4 at home where they are 7-1 ATS in their last eight when favored by 3.5-10.

There are some strong trends favoring the underdog in this series, but not when one of the teams isn't nearly at full-strength.  The Patriots will will by at least 9.

Bonus Pick -Sunday Night Football - Giants at Eagles.  The Eagles are only giving up 3.5 at home and they are on a roll.  Take the Eagles, and "Take it Easy."

Brett Favre Watch: Will He or Won't He? Day 2

Day 2 of the Brett Favre hostage crisis.  Will he, or won't he play against New England.

Favre told reporters Wednesday he would love to play in Sunday's game but isn't sure if he will.

"I would love to be able to try and do it," Favre told reporters.

"Sunday I'm still going to have a broken foot."

He will continue to receive treatment throughout the week, and will make the trip to New England.  it may be a gametime decision by Favre and Coach Brad Childress whether he will take the field.

Favre is wearing a walking boot, will not practice Wednesday.  After being battered and beaten against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Favre currently has  two fractures in his surgically repaired left ankle.
