Drew Brees Signs Huge Contract

Drew Brees and the Saints reached a deal on par with the quarterback's record-setting play, giving New Orleans' fans some news they can celebrate after an offseason rife with turmoil.

The team announced Friday that it had agreed to a five-year contract with Brees. A person familiar with the deal said it's for $100 million, with $60 million guaranteed.

The deal will also pay the quarterback $40 million the first year, the person told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because financial details had not been publicly announced.

NFL Wildcard Saturday Play of the Day: Seahawks

I am not crazy, I am not on drugs, but I love the Seahawks in today's NFL action.

The Saints are the better team and will win the game, but the Seahawks are getting 10 pts at home in a playoff game.

I have to say take the Seahawks and the points.  The only trend favoring Seattle is they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in January.  You can throw that out since that was a while ago and this is a totally different team.  Sometime you just have to go with your gut and the fact that they are getting 10 pts.

Take Seattle today.
