Week 7 NFL Play of the Day: Denver

It's not the best NFL game of the week, but it's one you should be on this week.  Denver travels to a Miami to play a teams that looks like it has packed it in.

Tim Tebow is trying to rally his Broncos, and I think he will, at least for this game.

How bad has Miami been?

The Dolphins are 0-7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and a whopping 17-47-1 ATS in their last 65 home games.  There aren't any overwhelming trends going the Bronco's way, but they are worth a play in this game as a pick.

Take the Broncos in a pick 'em.

Week 3 NFL Play of the Day: Tampa Bay

A battle of 3-1 teams as Tampa travels to San Francisco,

Tampa is getting 3, and I like them to win the game outright.  I can't see the 49ers doing much against the Buc's D.  I also think the San Fran defense will have some trouble with the balanced attack of Tampa led by Josh Freeman.

Tampa also doesn't mind going on the road as they are 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 road games.

Take Tampa and the 3 points this week.

Week 4 NFL Play: San Diego

The Chargers giving 7 to the Dolphines.

The Chargers are off to a little better start than they usually are.  The Dolphins, well they aren't doing much.

It will take a huge effort from Miami today just to stay close.

Trends:  The Chargers are 23-7 ATS in their last 30 games as a home favorite of 3.5-10.0 and the Dolphins are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog.

All signs point to a big win by the Chargers.  Give the 7.

Week 3 NFL Play of the Day: New England

We'll learn a lot about these two teams (New England at Buffalo), especially Buffalo, as these two teams clash Sunday afternoon.

This line has steadily been coming down and I say, all the better  What started as Buffalo +11 is now down to a Buffalo +7 or +8.  It doesn't matter take New England.

I can't see Buffalo getting any pressure on Tom Brady, and I think the Bill's secondary remains untested.

Some trends.  New England is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings.  The Bills are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 vs. AFC East and 6-15-1 ATS in their last 22 home games.

In other words take the Pats.

As a bonus play the over is 18-3 in the Patriot's last 21 games.  The total will go over 54 so take the OVER.

Week 1 NFL Play: Buffalo

Was there a more surprising team last week in the NFL than the Buffalo Bills?

To many, the Bills and their win over Kansas City were a bit shocking, not to me.  I saw the Bills improving as the weeks went by in 2010.  They have a underrated QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick, and playmakers at the skill positions.

They have also added to the defense and depth at positions across the board.

This week the Raiders head east to play the Bill in the 1pm game.  Never a good thing for the West Coast teams.  The Bills are only giving 4.  Give it!

Some trends...  The Bills are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 vs. AFC, 12-4 ATS in their last 16 games in Week 2, and 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.  Strong trends for this possible playoff team.  Run with the Bills this week.

Bonus pick:  The OVER in the Green Bay / Carolina game.  OVER the 45.5
