The Amazing Race teams remain in St. Petersburg, Russia and are forced to join the circus.
The teams learn how to entertain by clowning around in the circus. Contestants dressed as clowns will learn the art of balancing a spinning dish on a pole and playing the accordion. In the road block Michael participates in a Russian past time of throwing clubs to knock down a stack of logs and discovers it's harder than it looks. One team realizes that it's game on when other teams are less than honest with them.
The show is doing a great job this time around in Russia.
On a side note, CBS announced that The Amazing Race will return for its spring season in High Definition. In a statement released by CBS, Executive Producer and co-Creator Bertram van Munster announced that audiences would watch Season 18 teams racing around the globe each week framed by landscapes made even more breathtaking through the use of high definition.
This week's episode of The Amazing Race is titled "“Run, Babushka, Run." The race heads on to Russia, St. Petersburg to be exact.
Racers struggle to complete their creative detours before putting in a proper day’s work in the fields, where they discover the key to potato farming is manure, manure, manure.
No team stands out to me as favorites this season. It's pretty even, and the teams haven't started to get nasty to one another yet. Here's hoping that happens soon.
