Denver Goes from Summer to Snow

It's that time of the year in certain parts of the country.

Denver's temperature soared to 80 degrees at the start of the week but now a cold air mass is threatening to bring a significant snowfall - 6 to 12 inches - to the area.

Snow Again Causing Problems in Atlanta

Snow fell overnight all throughout Metro Atlanta and with the cold air temperatures, roads froze and it's dangerous outside.

- Dozens of crashes throughout metro Atlanta due to icy roads, including one involving a salt truck on Hwy 316 in Gwinnett County and another involving a MARTA bus in DeKalb County.

- Nearly 200 flights cancelled, 255 flights delayed in and out of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, as of 8 a.m.

- Winter Weather Advisory in effect for all of north Georgia and metro Atlanta

-Gov. Nathan Deal has declared a State of Emergency for 83 counties due to winter weather
