A Royal Caribbean cruise ship bound for the Bahamas catches fire.
Tropical Storm Bret formed on Sunday in the Atlantic Ocean near the northern Bahamas, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said. Authorities in the Bahamas issued a tropical storm watch for Grand Bahama and the Abaco Islands. Bret was not expected to approach the United States. The storm's center was located Sunday evening about 100 miles northwest of Great Abaco Island. Its maximum sustained winds were 40 mph and it was drifting south-southeast at 2 mph.
Although at this time it doesn't pose a threat, winds could graw as it starts to move.
