Rick talks about Jane Do, the big change these entrepreuers made and what's next...
When former Rockettes, Jacey Lambros and Danielle DeAngelo, founded the business in 2015 utilizing only their own self-funding, business leaders said it was impressive, when they launched a new digital app amid COVID-19 studio closures, those same industry leaders said it was extraordinary. At the start of 2020, Jane DO had five studio locations and an app in production; by March, their business model was forced to change.
Forced to close all of their studio locations, Jacey and Dani didn’t miss a beat and immediately began operating out of the garage of Jacey’s recently restored firehouse in Jersey City, NJ, the two are creating new class options daily and offering them to their growing clientele on two NEW platforms - Jane DO On Demand and Jane DO LIVE - utilizing household items in new and inventive ways in an effort to keep consumers engaged, happy and healthy while following social distancing guidelines. They’re even creating FREE live-streamed kids classes to keep them moving (and busy!) with the launch of Jane DO Littles.
The wide variety of class options and engaging lifestyle content has seen Jane DO On Demand see an increase of more than 155% over the past three months.
They are engaging, hilarious, authentic, and inspiring, with national appearances on the TODAY Show and The Real Housewives of New Jersey. They’ve also been featured in Good Day New York, Well+Good, and multiple news outlets across the country.
