Norwood won the WBF Cruiserweight Belt this past weekend in Las Vegas. This interview was conducted a day before the fight.

The Mississippi native took a major step in his career as he came up off the canvas to score an eight round split decision win over prospect Alvin Varmall Jr. in a fight for the WBF International cruiserweight belt.

This was a close fight.

In a split decision, won over two of the judges by identical scores of 77-74. The third judge had the fight for Varmall by a score of 77-74. With the win, Norwood captured the WBF International cruiserweight belt and sees his record improve to 15-5-1, 10 KOs.
