Limpert Tech on iHeartRadio 2/4/21 - Lulu and Lala from 'The Amazing Race'

Rick talks to CBS’s Amazing Race competitors, Lulu and Lala, about season 33 so far and the hardest challenges they’ve had to overcome?

Have a listen:

Between flag dancing, driving a stick-shift, COVID, and map-graffiti, The Amazing Race has put the twin radio hosts through a myriad of challenges. While viewers see what is happening on screen, so much more is happening behind the scenes and on the ground.

Thanks to COVID, it's been almost a two-year season of The Amazing Race.

iHeart's New York radio hosts and twins, Lulu and Lala, return to The Amazing Race Season 33 after a monumental production shutdown in February 2020. Airing every Wednesday night at 9pm ET on CBS, audiences get to witness the shut down of the race, as well as travel post pandemic. One of the last 8 teams standing in the final episode before the production halt, the twins, along with the rest of the cast, were sent back home. During that time, their grandmother unfortunately died from COVID-19 complications, majorly impacting their lives. Now, 19 months later, they’ve arrived in Switzerland, and continue to share their story as they fight to win The Amazing Race.

Upon announcement of the shutdown, the twins were shocked. “I immediately broke down and cried. I wasn't ready to go home,” says Lulu. “We formed such an amazing bond with the cast and crew and I felt like my sister and I still had a lot to prove to ourselves and the world.”

The Cuban-Salvadorian sisters are the only twin radio hosts in the nation, making a positive and memorable mark on the broadcasting industry. Being unique, relatable, and fun, Lulu and Lala bring an exciting energy to season 33. Between moments of sibling arguments, mini-meltdowns, and ultimately makeups — viewers get an inside view into the unbreakable bond that twins can have.

Because of the COVID shutdown, this season is vastly different than any before it. Aside from being the longest chronologically, this is also the first time contestants were not allowed to use public transportation, and the first time previously eliminated contestants were brought back to compete due to other teams opting out of the race.

Even with the changes, The Amazing Race continues to be the ultimate competition, putting teams to an extraordinary test.

Tune in to CBS on Wednesday nights to watch Lulu and Lala fight to be the last team standing.

To learn more about Lulu and Lala, follow them on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or on iHeart’s 103.5 KTU Radio show every night at 7pm ET.

Limpert Tech on iHeartRadio 1/29/21 - Eric Fouchard, Aeronest from New Pad Maker

One of my favorite things at CES in 2022 was a little fan ventilation system for facemasks.

Joined by Eric Fouchard this week on ‘Tech of Sports’ to talk about the groundbreaking Aeronest.

Attach Aeronest to your mask, push the button : « et voilà » , you are now breathing effortlessly !! Thanks to its magnetic attach system (patent pending) Aeronest adapt at a glance on your everyday mask (N95, surgical, fabric…)

Without altering the mask or its filtration capacities, install the fan that draws air for you. By renewing the air for 8 to 12 hours (3 speeds) inside the mask you forget about tiredness, pimples, mist on glasses… Aeronest : clip it and breathe.

Great for athletes, travelers and anyone who has to wear a mask for an extended period of time.

Aeronest will soon have a campaign up on Indiegogo.

Aeronest is a mask attachment that can be put on any mask thanks to its patented magnetic attachment system without altering both its structure and its filtration capacity. Its built-in fan draws fresh air to the inside of the mask, making it easier for you to breathe and preventing perspiration, glasses fogging up, etc.

Wagz is on a mission to bring dog parents the best humane smart dog products, starting with the Wagz Freedom Smart Dog Collar ($249)-- the only shock-free wireless fence and wellness system.

Wagz gives your dog the freedom to roam while you stay connected to his wellness and wearabouts, offering invaluable peace of mind.

Fun fact: Terry launched the game of paintball and helped grow it into a worldwide sport!
