Kindle Pick of the Week: Secrets of Sports Psychology Revealed

The Secrets of Sports Psychology Revealed by Rick Wolff is aimed towards the individual athlete (or coach) who is eager to cut through all the clutter and find out what is the best approach to adopting sports psychology techniques that actually work. It includes stories about working with athletes, such as Manny Ramirez and Jim Thome, as well as lessons learned from groundbreaking Sports Psychologist H.A. Dorfman.

The Secrets of Sports Psychology Revealed by Rick Wolff will answer basic questions that most top athletes have, including:

·         is it okay to have pre-game rituals?

·         Do superstitions work?

·         Is there a guaranteed way to elevate one’s mental game into the zone?

·         How do the best athletes find a way to make mental adjustments during the heat of competition?

This is a book that makes you think, and one might be able to see what works for others and how you can learn from that.

The author calls on his own experiences to help the readers understand that psychology plays a major role in sports.

Rick Wolff is a nationally-recognized expert in the field of sports psychology.
