Crowdfunding Corner: Ulzi App is Personal Freedom through Artificial Intelligence

I love this app.

It’s a sobering statistic that many women know all too well: 1 in 4 women will likely be assaulted during her college career.

Troubled after learning about this ominous statistic, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduates, Maxwell Fong and Elan Timmons, were inspired to create a small online platform where people could share their personal stories about sexual assault. After receiving hundreds of emails, the duo wanted to do something more so they began to work closely with sexual assault survivors and supporters to develop Ulzi, (, a personal safety smartphone app that eases the concern about the safety of your loved ones or yourself.

Ulzi is here to help.

Through emergency notifications, GPS tracking, safe route planning, and artificial intelligence, your phone and your community can always have your back, and you’ll have peace of mind when it comes to your loved ones’ safety.

Starting at just $8.
