A 'Breastaurant' in Buckhead

The team behind the newest restaurant in Buckhead, Twin Peaks also started Hooters, yet they'd like you to forget about those other boobs.  Twin Peaks will offer "scenic views" of gorgeous, be-cleavaged ladies in red plaid tied-up shirts in a double-decker cabin-esque space with hand-cut log seats, and a wide assortment of taxidermy, including deer and foxes.

Their starters are classily dubbed "teasers", and include venison chili and "Average Joes" (cheddar brats w/ smokehouse pico & Dijon mustard), while Phillys come w/ jalapeños, queso & pico to make them "Texas style", and burgers range from braised steak sliders to the bacon/ American / fried egg Hangover -- which, just like the movie, you should definitely not have two of. Meaty mains include green chile meatloaf w/ mac 'n cheese, chicken-fried steak w/ jalapeño cream gravy, and, if it's your own girlish figure you came here to watch, the garlic lime-buttered "Trophy Trout".

Beer's available, including their proprietary 6% Dirty Blonde and Knotty Brunette amber in sizes up to 44-DD, just kidding. Try the 22ozers, which pour through a system serving them "at 29 degrees!", likely the average number held by most of the red plaid-shirted employees.

Case of the Missing Wimbledon Hawk Solved

How do they keep pigeons away from the grounds at Wimbledon?

A trained hawk named Rufus.

But Rufus went AWOL last week.  He and he cage were stolen out of a car.

Now, some good news.

Police have confirmed that Rufus was handed into the RSPCA animal hospital in Putney, south west London and was reunited with his owners on Sunday.

"We have Rufus back, safe and well. We are ecstatic and so, so overwhelmed with all the lovely messages and help we have received," Imogen Davis told said.

Rufus will reportedly be given a few days' rest before resuming his duties at Wimbledon later this week.

Harrier hawks first came to the All England Club in 1999 and are trained to circle the courts to scare pigeons away.

Birds such as Rufus are flown before and after each day's play at Wimbledon, to avoid distracting players during the day's program.

First a roof and now a hawk.  What innovation at Wimbledon.  Is the U.S. Open taking notes?

Kindle Free Pick of the Week: Margaret's Ark

On April ninth, thousands of people wake from the same dream, angels instructing them to build a biblical ark in their front yard, or the town square or little league field. Anywhere, to prepare for the worst natural disaster to strike the world since the days of Noah. A widowed California high school teacher risks everything to build a boat in the sixty days she is given. A homeless and self-proclaimed prophet of God preaches across Boston's waterfront, unaware that he is not alone in his visions. A young priest is torn between the signs around him and the skepticism of his Church. A physician’s plans for advancement are threatened by her husband’s dreams of a coming flood.

In the end, only thirty people may board each boat. As the world slowly comes to grips with events unfolding around them, they must weigh their own faith in the exceptional and identical visions of so many people. The skies are clear, without a hint of rain. But if the dreams are true, something terrible is looming on the horizon.

Power Outages Dot East Coast

Doing fine here in Atlanta, but other places on the East Coast are not as lucky.

Utility crews untangled downed power lines and tree limbs Sunday, working to get the electricity turned back on for millions of people facing a second day of 100-degree temperatures without modern conveniences like air conditioning and refrigeration.

“Unlike a polite hurricane that gives you three days of warning, this storm gave us all the impact of a hurricane without any of the warning of a hurricane,” Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley said.

With the power out, authorities also warned people to be careful when using generators and candles to help light darkened homes.

The bulk of the storm damage was in West Virginia, Washington and the capital’s Virginia and Maryland suburbs.

Pam Shriver Gives an Interview to... Forget at Wimbledon

I guess this is why Pam Shriver gets big bucks to cover Wimbledon.

Here she is trying to interview a drunk and very Scottish Andy Murray fan.

It goes on about a minute too long.
