'Skating With the Stars' Coming This Fall to ABC

Another network already tried this idea, but ABC is going to give it another go.

ABC today announced premiere dates for the Dancing with the Stars ice skating spinoff Skating with the Stars.   Skating will slide into Dancing's Monday 8-9:30 PM slot following the conclusion of the current Dancing cycle.

Skating will premiere on November 22, airing twice behind Dancing on Mondays at 9 PM before moving to 8 PM on December 6.

Figure Skating is always a great draw on television with women.  If ABC gets celebs somewhat close to what they get for Dancing, and a good host like Tom Bergeron, this show has a chance.

Vote For Henry on ABC's People's Platelist

My friend, Superchef Henry Chandler is in the running to be honored by ABC News as one of the top chefs in America.  The video above tells a bit of Henry's story and his passion for good food and good times. 

About 10 years ago, Henry brought the Louisiana Bayou to the Atlanta suburbs, and things haven't been the same since.  If you have ever visited Henry's Louisiana Grill in Acworth, GA you'll know what I'm taking about. 

Henry is a great chef as you can tell by the packed restaurant, but he's even a better person.  He supports many causes, not only with his business, but personally as well.

Dancing With the Stars Rumors

The new television season is approaching.  Tom Bergeron is expected to announce the entire Season 11 cast of "Dancing with the Stars" next Monday, Aug. 30, after ABC's "Bachelor Pad."

Looks like we may be subjected to Jersey Shore mania this season.  Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino may soon show off his rock-hard abs and fist-pumping skills on the hit ABC show.

Others in talks to compete this season include singer Michael Bolton, Audrina Patridge of "The Hills," former Dallas Cowboy quarterback Troy Aikman, singer Brandy and "The Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky and her fiance, Roberto Martinez. 

Also heard that David Hasselhoff was interested in competing if his schedule would allow.

Maybe not as much star-power as last season, but interesting participants nonetheless.
