NFL Back to Allowing Touchdown Celebrations

Don't call it the "No Fun League" anymore!

In a letter to players, Goodell wrote that previously penalized celebrations, including making snow angels, using the ball as a prop and engaging in group demonstrations, will now be legal.

Joan of Arc Turns.... 600

The French city of Orleans is preparing for festivities over the next two weeks to mark the 600th birthday of one of France's best cultural exports: Joan of Arc.

It was quite a sight on Tuesday, as the Loire River swarmed with wooden boats filled with locals dressed in medieval garb — re-enacting Joan of Arc's legendary entry into the city in 1429.

It's an event that liberated Orleans from English invaders, and sealed her place in the history books. It has inspired, over the centuries, myriad novels, poems, rock songs, operas, plays — and even a blockbuster Hollywood feature film with Milla Jovovich.

"It's marvelous to see the children dressing up and learning about this great French heroine who's known all over the world," said Jacques Dubarre, dressed in a velvet mantel. "Of course we're also having fun."

In a testament to her international appeal, some 600 contemporary artists — from as far as the U.S., Japan and Russia — have made portraits of Joan of Arc through the ages that will be projected on the City Hall this Friday.

Should be quite a celebration.

Egypt celebrates, but what is next?

President Obama delivered a speech about Egypt calling for "nothing less than genuine democracy," not just a government aligned with U.S. interests.

It wil sure be interesting to see what happens in Egypt over the next few months.

50,000 Packer Fans Celebrate With Team

Fifty thousand Green Bay Packers fans packed a frigid Lambeau Field on Tuesday to welcome back not only their team, but also the Lombardi trophy.  When the team emerged from the tunnel these fans didn't care how cold it was.

Coach Mike McCarthy was among the last to walk out of the players' tunnel, holding high the gleaming silver trophy as fans screamed "Go Pack Go!" Those closest to the railing reached down from the stands to touch the coveted Super Bowl prize.

Dignitaries on hand included the Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker and Sen. Herb Kohl.

McCarthy thanked the fans for their support.

"You just keep bringing that passion and energy and we'll keep bringing the trophies home," McCarthy said. The fans roared their approval.

Packer Fans Celebrate a Victory

For good reason, Green Bay Packer fans were celebrating into the early hours of Monday morning.

Green Bay is planning a big celebration.  A motorcade Monday afternoon. A celebration at Lambeau Field on Tuesday.

There will be so many celebrations, the players will be sick of it at some point.
