Driver to Paso on 'Rock Week'

It's "Rock Week" and Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd say they're ready to tear it up when they do the paso doble.

Literally meaning "double step" in Spanish, the lively dance is modeled after the sound, feel, and movement of a Spanish bullfight.  Driver should excel in this dance.

The duo finished last week in the upper half of the leaderboard and have improved their scores each week.

Monday's "Dancing with the Stars" airs at 8 P.M. Eastern on ABC.

DWTS: Martina's Foot Faults and Driver's Quicksteps

We had to wait until the last 30 minutes of the show to see how Martina and Donald would fare this week.

After a tough week of practice, where Martina aggravated an old tennis injury, she took to the floor with Tony Dovolani for a jive.

After a slow start, the former world No. 1 loosened up a bit.  She hit some of her moves and they even played up the judges a little.

The judges were as nice as they could've been to the tennis legend, but she did misd some steps and was mechanical with her turns.

Martina gets a 17 and it's not looking good for the 20-time Wimbledon champ.

Following Martina it's Donald Driver and Peta.  They get a quickstep, and this dance should be perfect for a fleet-footed wide receiver.  Or is it?

Peta worked Driver like it was training camp.  It paid off as Driver was able to show off his nimble feet.  A tough routine and he nailed it.

Len thought it was great and said he underscored "DD" last week.  The fans loved it and Packers fans around the world I'm sure are voting.

Driver gets a 24.  Touchdown!

Donald Driver Dances Tonight

Tonight we find out if Donald Driver can dance as "Dancing With the Stars" begins another season.

Keeping close watch will no doubt be Green Bay Packer fans as one of the most popular Packers of all-time hits the dance floor in search of the morror ball trophy.

I tend to think he's going to be pretty good.  Can he duplicate what Hines Ward did a year ago?  It will be tough, but Ward benefited from a stron Steeler fan base voting for him each week.

Green Bay fans will be there in droves as well.  Good luck to "Double D"!

Aaron Rodgers Has More to Prove

Replacing the most popular quarterback in franchise history might be too much for a young football player to handle.  Not for Green Bay Packer quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers recorded his first career playoff victory as the Packers’ starting quarterback, leading some to insist that he had somehow shed a huge weight off his shoulders.

FOX sideline reporter Pam Oliver even asked Rodgers after the game about the so-called monkey. In the locker room on Tuesday Rodgers shrugged off the topic.

“Honestly I’ve never felt like there was a monkey on my back," replied Rodgers.

After posting a 122.5 passer rating and throwing three perfect  touchdown strikes against the Eagles, Rodgers finds himself at the top of the list in the NFL record books.

Adding his four-touchdown playoff effort last year against Arizona, Rodgers’ seven TD passes in his first two postseason starts are the most in NFL history. Five other QBs held the previous mark of six.
Rodgers also became the first quarterback in league history to post 120-plus passer ratings in each of his first two playoff starts.

Rodgers’ career playoff passer rating of 121.8 is tops in NFL history among players with 50 or more passes. He also ranks first in league history with a 98.4 rating in the regular season.

That is saying something in a league where a quarterback's value is determined by how many playoff games and then how many championships they win.  Rodgers now has one in the win column and is looking for more.

But Rodgers will be the first to admit football is a team game and it's going to take a team effort to get by the Atlanta Falcons this weekend.  The Packers are slight underdogs against the top-seeded Falcons, but I'd like my chances against any team with Aaron Rodgers leading my team.
