That barren wasteland of tennis video games will get some company in 2018.
Bigben and Breakpoint are pleased to announce Tennis World Tour, the new standard for tennis games, due for release in 2018 on consoles and PC.
In order to make the best possible game and match players' expectations, the studio has brought in an experienced team which has worked on the "Top Spin" license.
Pierre André, Game Designer on Tennis World Tour and former Producer on "Top Spin 4": "For years we've wanted to create a new tennis game, a spiritual successor to "Top Spin 4". Technical evolutions now mean we can create the ultra-realistic simulation that we've been dreaming of."
Benoît Clerc, Director of Video Games at Bigben: "We are proud to give to all tennis fans a game worthy of their enthusiasm. The level of quality, wealth of content and game mechanics will ensure Tennis World Tour is one of the best sport simulations on the market."
This desire to provide a faithful tennis simulation translates into demanding gameplay during rally, a wide range of playing styles and a strategic preparation that influences the course of each match.
In addition to that, Tennis World Tour lets you experience the career of a professional: more than 30 playable tennis stars including Roger Federer, Gaël Monfils, Angelique Kerber, Garbiñe Muguruza and many more.
More information about the game will be provided during Gamescom 2017.
How about some Packer season ticket holders traveling to the opening game by horse drawn carriage?
This Tomah couple is making the 200-mile trip to Lambeau by horse.
They average somewhere between 20-30 miles a day onthe backroads of Wisconsin. This year it appears it will take them a little over a week.
The couple attend every home game, wearing green Packers jerseys with "Packer Bob" and "Packer Maren" on the back. The season opener is the only game they travel to by horse; for the rest of the schedule they journey by traditional means.
These are real Packer fans.
One the eve of the Kindle Fire getting released, here's another puzzle game for your Kindle with a holiday theme.
Pixel Perfect Holiday Puzzles is a logic puzzle game that challenges you to make a picture from numerical clues.
This sequel to the popular Pixel Perfect Puzzles gives you 50 new holiday and winter themed pictures to reveal. Each clue tells you where to draw a run of consecutive black squares. The clues in a row or column appear in the same order as the runs in the puzzle grid, with at least one empty square between each run. Start with the largest clues first, and then cross out squares that you know should be empty. This will allow you to narrow down the possibilities and logically determine the remaining squares.
The challenges can be tough, but there are 3 hints available on each puzzle to help you out if you get stuck. The game can even find and erase errors at any time. Time, hints used, and errors are tracked for each puzzle. Can you discover every picture?
If you like using logic to solve puzzles, you will love Pixel Perfect Holiday Puzzles!
Looks like Amazon is releasing a bunch of little games apps now as the Amazon tablet could be announced as early as this week.
Pirate Stash is a logic puzzle game that challenges you to hide all of your treasure chests on a deserted island.
X marks the spot as you push one or more treasure chests to be buried in designated hiding places. Maneuver your loot through a maze of obstacles, but be careful not to make the wrong move. You can only move one chest at a time and the chests cannot be pulled. When the treasure chests are all in place, you have solved the puzzle.
Your score for a puzzle is the number of times each chest is pushed, with a lower number of pushes being better. Achieve up to three stars on a puzzle. Gain one star for solving the puzzle, two stars for matching par for the puzzle, and three stars for a perfect score. Over 100 puzzles of increasing difficulty allow anyone, from beginners to experts, to challenge their minds. Can you beat them all?
If you need a little diversion while reading on your Kindle, this is your app.
