NCAA Tournament Plays of the Day for 3/24/12

Lousiville and Ohio State

Louisville vs. Florida for a trip to the Final Four.

It's Pitino vs. Donovan, mentor vs. student.

I tend to like Louisville in this one, but it's going to be close.

The Cardinals are getting 1.5 points in this one and are really peaking.  They also are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 Sat. games.  Pitino will have them ready to play and he's great at getting teams to the Final Four.

Take Louisville and points in this one.

That brings us to Ohio State and Syracuse.

Ohio State is looking real good, while the Orange have just been eeking their way through these games.  This is a game where Syracuse is rally going to miss Fab Mello.

Even though Syracuse is getting 3 points, I like The Buckeyes to win going away.  One trend to consider is Syracuse is 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games overall.  Ouch!

Take The Ohio St. and give the points.

Thursday NCAA Tournament Play of the Day

The Louisville Cardinals

The University of Louisville takes on Morehead St. in a first round NCAA Tournament game on Thursday.

What a missmatch here.  I'm surprised the line is only Louisville -9.5.

With both teams hailing from Kentucky, they actually have played four times in the past seven years.  Louisville has never won by fewer than 20 points.

To add insult to injury and make my point even stronger, Louisville is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

Go with Rick Pittino, Preston Knowles and the Cardinals if you want a big win on Thursday.
