Thursday Night NBA Play of the Night: Magic at Heat

The Magic visit the Heat tonight in a battle of two of the best teams in the East.

The home team owns this series, but the games can be close.  Orlando is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 Thu. games.  That means something to me.  This should be a fun game to watch.  The Heat are favored by 5.

I'm looking for a close game tonight, so the Magic are the play.

Thursday Night NBA Play of the Day: Mavs

The game tonight between the Mavericks and Suns is in Phoenix and the home team is getting points.  Usually in the NBA that means take the home team, but not tonight.

The Mavs love playing the Suns and matchup very well with them.  The Mavs are also 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall.

This should be an easy win for Mark Cuban and the Mavericks tonight.  Take the MAVS!

NBA Thursday Night Play of the Day: Bulls

The Bull and Mavs tonight at the United Center.

The teams sport almost identical records, but the Bulls have an impressive 18-4 record at home.

Can they cover the 3.5 they are giving Dallas?  I say yes.  The Bulls are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21 vs. NBA Southwest.

The Bulls aren't sure if Carlos Boozer is going to play in this game, but it shouldn't make a difference with the Bull being at home and Dallas having lost 6 out of their last 7.

Christmas Day: NBA Play of the Day

The Heat vs. Lakers.

The NBA game everyone is waiting for is here.  The Heat is in L.A. to play the Lakers today.  This is setting up perfectly to be the coming out party, for James, Wade and Bosh. 

Both teams have similar records (Lakers are 21-8, Heat are 22-9)  Both teams are below .500 ATS.

The Heat are getting 3 pts and this sets up perfectly for the Heat to make a splash.  The Lakers are coming off a bad loss to Milwaukee, and in that loss they looked slow and lethargic.  The Lakers may be going through a rough spell right now and the Heat see this as an opportunity to make the rest of the league take notice.

Take the Heat and the 3 pts.
