NCAA Championship Game Play of the Day

Could it be anyone else?  It has to be Butler!

Don't worry about the trends, don't worry about UCONN.  Butler is getting  points and you can take that to the bank.

The total is going to go over the 129.  So you can play those, parlay, teaser whatever.

Butler and the OVER.

NCAA Final Four Plays of the Day: Butler and UCONN

The first game Saturday night is Butler and VCU.  I've been riding Butler the whole way and I'm not turning my back on the Bulldogs now.

They are favored by 2.5 points and it should be another close game with Butler pulling away at the end.

Trends for Butler include: 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall and an unbelievable 15-2 ATS in their last 17 neutral site games.  This is the Final Four after all.  The experience the Bulldogs got last year gives them a huge advantage on this big stage.

Take Butler!

The second game is all about Kemba Walker and UCONN.

UCONN is getting 2 points from a team they beat by 17 back in November.

The Huskies are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games as an underdog and 9-1 ATS in their last 10 non-conference games.  Kentucky has a balanced attack, but the best player on the floor will be Walker and that will pull UCONN through.

Take UCONN and the 2 points and buckle up for a great game.

Sunday Elite 8 Play of the Day

North Carolina

Let's see if I can keep this up.  2-0 yesterday with Arizona and Butler.

I'm not sure why North Carolina is getting 1.5 points from Kentucky, but I'll take it.  After all, the Tar Heels are 11-3 ATS in their last 14 NCAA Tournament games.  UNC beat Kentucky back in December and their only loss in their last 13 games was to Duke.  Harrison Barnes is proving to be a force and a team leader here down the stretch.

It has to be the Tar Heels day.

As far as Kansas and VCU.  I like Kansas to win the game, but based on how this tournament is going I like VCU getting the 11 points.

VCU's run will come to an end, but they will cover with the 11.

Saturday NCAA Elite 8 Play of the Day

Arizona

Hmmmm... Arizona getting 2.5 points.  I love it.  I think the road for UCONN comes to an end today.  Arizona has found its game and they way they beat Duke, there appears to be no stopping them, at least in this round.

The Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog and an even more impressive 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS win; showing they build on impressive wins.  That is a must in the tournament.

UCONN has played 8 games in 13 days.  They are tired.  I see Arizona taking control in the second half and pulling away with the win.  So you might want to look at the moneyline in this games as well.

In the other game:

I can't go against Butler.  They are getting 4 from Florida.  The Gators are more athletic, talented and may have the best player on the court in Erving Walker.  Still, take Butler and the 4.

So today's picks are Arizona and Butler.

Friday NCAA Sweet 16 Play of the Day

Marquette

Getting 4.5 points from North Carolina makes Marquette the play tonight in NCAA Sweet 16 action.

Marquette has come on late in the season as they are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall, and against ACC foes they are 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games.

The Tar Heels are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite and other than Long Island, they aren't blowing teams out.

Look for Marquette to keep it close and cover.

Here are my predictions for the other three games tonight:

Take Richmond +10.5 vs. Kansas

Take Ohio St. -6 vs. Kentucky

and

Take VCU +4 vs. Florida St.

Good Luck!
