The 160-acre facility, built over an old landfill south of 45th Street and west of Interstate 95, is just about done. While both teams hold practice sessions over the first two weeks of camp, work will continue in the main stadium up until the first game on Feb. 28 when the Nationals host the Astros.

The Astros’ six practice fields are on the on northeast and east side of the complex. The Nationals’ fields are on the southeast and south corner of the complex. Four practice fields abut Military Trail, bordered by protective netting to prevent baseballs from hitting traffic on the road.

5. AT&T Beefs Up Wireless Coverage for Racing Fans at Daytona 500

There isn’t much that can keep up with the drivers at Daytona 500—except for maybe AT&T’s network speeds.
At the Daytona International Speedway, we recently upgraded our mobile coverage with a new Distributed Antenna System (DAS). The DAS will boost LTE capacity for fans by nearly 30% compared to previous years. So when fans grab their smartphones to share the most exciting moments on social media, they’ll enjoy a faster, more reliable connection.

A DAS is made of numerous, small antennas that distribute AT&T wireless network coverage to provide extra cellular capacity and shorten the distance a call or text must travel. Simply put—calls, texts and posts are less likely to get stuck in a cellular “traffic jam.”

With the sudden surge in popularity of streaming video on social media apps like Snapchat and Instagram, we expect mobile data usage to continue to rise. We continue to see increased data usage across our mobile network, especially at crowded entertainment venues and high-traffic buildings. In fact, data on our mobile network has increased about 250,000% since 2007, and the majority of that traffic is video.

5.  HelloTech

www.hellotech.com

HelloTech -- a leading on-demand, in-home technology support startup -- specializes in TV mounting and installation, and has compiled tips to avoid the “Top 5 Most Common TV Mounting Fails” just in time for next week’s game. These tips are foolproof in guiding your readers in optimizing their TV viewing parties while also helping them reduce stress when preparing their surround sound, streaming and more.

FAIL #1: Choosing the Wrong Mount
Before anything else, you need to choose the TV mount right for you. Most important of all, double check the load-bearing capacity of the mount. One that supports 33 pounds is only good for small 15-inch TVs, not for your 55-inch smart TV. HelloTech urges you to choose wisely because watching your expensive television falling and shattering right in the middle of your Super Bowl party would be rather embarrassing (not to mention gut-wrenching).

FAIL #2: Thinking You Can Go It Alone
TV mounting is a two-person job they are wide and heavy and  can hit 50 lbs! That's why HelloTech recommends that at least one person helps you out. An extra pair of hands will certainly be needed to lift and hold brackets in place while you figure out which screws go where.

FAIL #3: Ignoring Those Wall Studs
HelloTech recommends that you be extra sure that you have indeed found the right studs before you start drilling. That way, you don’t have to suffer through having any wrong holes repaired. Additionally, make sure you use the right drill bit. Otherwise, the drilled holes might just be too small or too big for the screws.

FAIL #4: Hammering Near the TV
If during the installation process you need to hammer nails, don’t do so until you have transferred the TV to somewhere safe. This precaution is necessary because any nail that slips from your fingers could hit the TV screen, rendering it useless.

FAIL #5: Buying the Wrong Cables and Wires
HelloTech advises that you carefully plan where all of the cables will go so that they won’t look cluttered and won’t be peeking from behind the TV. Unfortunately, some people can take the organizing too far, so they end up with cables not reaching their intended ports if this happens, never force the cables. Don’t try to bend the TV just to make things connect. These actions can damage  the screen, the ports, the cables, or the wall.

 Enjoy the game!

Limpert Tech "SullyCast" on iHeartRadio Radio 105.7 - CES 2017

Happy New Year and as 2017 begins, Rick was at CES in Las Vegas along with 200,000 other people looking at the latest in gadgets tech and getting a glimpse at what's coming in the future. Here, he and Sully have fun talking about Rick's adventures at CES.

Have a listen:

1.  New Phones

LG, Samsung, Burnerphone,  other smaller brands that fit a need.

2. LG's Levitating Speaker

LG plans to mesmerize visitors to the next CES with its new futuristic PJ9 bluetooth speaker, whose levitation is achieved through the use of electromagnets. The PJ9 combines its original design with high-quality sound that can be delivered indoors and outdoors.

The speaker has a battery life of about ten hours and when it is running low on power, it automatically descends onto its "levitation station" where it will recharge wirelessly without any intervention from the listener. As an added bonus, it also complies with the IPX7 norm, meaning that it will not be damaged by dust or immersion in water at depths of less than a meter, which makes it useful both indoors and outdoors.

LG has yet to communicate either the availability or the price tag for this surprising product.

3.  Sleep Number 360 smart bed

The bed that learns and reacts

Sleep Number’s 360 smart bed will forever transform the way people sleep. The new integrated design includes a proprietary algorithm (powered by SleepIQ technology) and machine learning to intuitively sense and automatically adjust all night for an effortless and optimized sleep experience.

4.  ShadeCraft's Sunflower Smart Patio Umbrella

Shadecraft, the pioneer of intelligent, autonomous outdoor living solutions, launches its premiere product, SUNFLOWER, the world’s first artificial intelligence-controlled, solar-powered, robotic patio shade.

SUNFLOWER uses artificial intelligence (AI) and internet of things (IoT) connectivity to track and tap the sun for optimal shade and energy collection. SUNFLOWER’s integrated security cameras provide consumers with added protection outside their homes through an autonomous robot. The robotic shade’s sensors provide real-time weather data, including UV radiation levels, humidity, air quality, and temperature, and detect wind and obstructions to ensure consumer safety.

5. Showerheads

- Moen - Moen’s new shower system lets you pre-heat the water from your smartphone. U by Moen is a controller that's installed in the shower to deliver more personalization (and hopefully save some time in the morning).
The device allows users to create preset settings for water temperature, so the shower can automatically warm up to the ideal temperature, and allows multiple users to program their own specific settings.

- Hydrao  - The new HYDRAO Loop and First smart showerheads and HYDRAO Drop smart shower light bring innovation, color, enjoyment – and now French design chic – to the bathroom. They are designed to increase awareness of water usage and encourage reduced water and energy consumption.
HYDRAO First will be the first product to become available internationally – starting tomorrow.
The designs of HYDRAO Loop and Drop have already won two new CES Innovation Awards:
HYDRAO Loop in the Smart Home category and HYDRAO Drop in Tech for a Better World.
