Day 4: French Open Match of the Day - Zvonareva vs. Lisicki

A second round women's match featuring Vera Zvonareva and Sabine Lisicki.

Zvonareva being the #3 seed is the favored player, but don't count out the German who always seems to be coming back from injury.

Lisicki has had a good spring and Zvonareva is going to win a big title one ofthese days.

Look for a good three setter with Lisicki outhitting Vera at the end.

Prediction: Lisicki in 3 sets.

ATP Tour Match of the Week: Almagro vs. Hanescu

The last ATP match before the French Open begins.

It's on clay, in Nice, so that favors the Spaniard, Almagro.  Hanescu has done well to get to the finals here.  His run will come to an end as Almagro owns Hanescu in three career meetings.

Both players are looking for momentum heading into Roland Garros, and Almagro should be able to pick up another clay court title.  He's kind of a reincarnation of Albert Costa.  Costa would travel the world looking for clay court events, even though he was competent on hard courts.

Prediction:  Almagro in two sets.

More Than $30,000 for a Hat?

eBay said Wednesday that bids for one of the wackiest pieces of royal wedding headgear have approached 18,400 pounds ($30,000.)

Princess Beatrice's massive ring-and-bow-shaped hat turned heads at the wedding of her cousin Prince William last month.  Can you even call this a hat?

The Philip Treacy creation has been compared to a toilet seat or a pretzel. Images of the headpiece have been repeatedly digitally manipulated and posted online, featuring — for example — a cat crawling through it.

Funds from the hat's sale will go to UNICEF and Children in Crisis, according to eBay. Beatrice said she hoped whoever bought the hat would have "as much fun with it as I have."

The auction ends May 22.

If that first hat wasn't enough for you, here's another one Beatrice wore in the past.

R2B2 and Roger Burgess Invite Drag Racing Fans to Open House

If you are a fan of drag racing, making a trip to R2B2 Racecars in Gwinnett County is like a baseball fan going to Yankee Stadium.

For the second year, R2B2 opened up its headquarters for an open house with proceeds going to charity.  One the eve of the 31st Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway, fans got to see a Nitro Funny Car, Pro Mod Cars, and a great selection of other exotic autos.

This year's open house is more than just a way for R2B2 to grow stronger bonds with fans and fellow racers, it's also going to help the community with a raffle that will benefit the charity Dream House for Kids.

"This is a great chance to make a fan's dream come true and help children in need," Burgess said. "Historically, the NHRA community at large always rises to the occasion when the call goes out, and I expect everyone will be anxious to help Dream House for Kids."

NHRA favorite Melanie Troxel greets fans

Food, entertainment, and drag racing are all part of the R2B2 open house each year.  Hundreds of fans turned up for charity and get a glimpse of Roger Burgess' racing operation.
