Nadal Wins French Open on Djokovic Double Fault

It's not the way you want a great match at a major championship like the French Open to end, but Rafael Nadal claimed his seventh French Open title in four sets when Novak Djokovic double faulted.

French Open Final Set for 7AM Monday

With Rafael Nadal trying to protect a 6-4, 6-3, 2-6, 1-2 lead over a surging Novak Djokovic, who's seeded No. 1. A tarp was pulled over the court, and after another hour or so, the decision was made to stop for the day and resume Monday.

Nadal and Djokovic were scheduled to resume at 1 p.m. local time (7 a.m. EDT) on Monday, when the forecast calls for intermittent rain. NBC, which aired Sunday's action, said Monday's U.S. TV coverage will shift to NBC Sports Network, a cable channel in about 35 million fewer homes than the broadcast network. It also will be streamed online at NBCSports.com.

French Open Men's Semi-Final Predictions

The top 4 seeds in a Grand Slam semi-finals.  Does it get any better than that?

Right now it doesn't, but there are some intriguing stories taking place this year in Paris.

Rafa Nadal is going for yet another French Open title and is looking to keep his #1 world ranking.

Andy Murray has dodged all sort of bullets in this event.  He's been like a cat with 9 lives, and I'm not sure if he has any left.

Roger Federer has proved a bunch of people wrong in getting this far, but he's made it here with relative ease.

Novak Djokovic is trying to wrestle the #1 ranking away from Nadal, win another Grand Slam title, and oh by the way, he hasn't lost yet this year.

Predictions:  Nadal and Djokovic.

Day 7: French Open Match of the Day - Continuation of Djokovic vs. Del Potro

Nothing was settled on Friday, so let's try again on Saturday.

It's one set all, 6-3, 3-6.  Darkness fell on Lenglen as these two warriors did battle.

It's a best of 3 come Saturday and I feel really either player could win.

Prediction: It's tough, but how about Djokovic in 5.
