Golf "Mini Tour" Player Shoots a 55

His name is Rhein Gibson and he plays on Golfweek National Pro Tour, a mini tour in the world of golf.

And last week, he shot a 16-under par 55.

The former player at Oklahoma Christian University tore apart  the River Oaks Golf Club in Oklahoma by shooting 12 birdies and 2 eagles.

Golf historians are still checking, but it may be the lowest score ever in the history of golf.

It also appears to be legit, he playing partners are verifying it.

Even more strange, is that Gibson shot a 60 on this course a week before the 55.

When will this guy be playing a PGA Tour event.

One other observation is you don't ever want to be playing against this guy at River Oaks.

Gibson is 26 years old and he is from Australia.

Like the Song "Africa" By Toto?

These guys are from Utah and they sang it in a Pizzeria and in my opinion, hit a home run.

Awesome cover!

As they say on American Idol, these guys "made it their own."  I almost liked it better than the original.

I don't care how the pizza is at this place, I would eat anything if these guys were playing.

Man Out on Bond Has to Write Book Reports

There are bad punishments and there are bad punishments.

I guess cleaning the chalkboards was already taken.

A man charged in an undercover sting operation in Northern California that ended in gunfire has been ordered released on bond on the condition that he read and write book reports.

U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers allowed 23-year-old Otis Mobley to be freed Monday, although she delayed an order to allow prosecutors to appeal her decision.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that under the bond order, Mobley would be required to spend an hour reading and a half hour writing each day as he awaits trial on robbery and assault charges.

Mobley and two others are accused of arranging to sell a grenade launcher for $1,000 to an undercover federal agent in Richmond, Calif. Hutcherson was shot and wounded by agents during the alleged meeting.

Wing Problem on Airbus A380 Will Be Fixed

Qatar Airways Monday said it won't take delivery of five A380 super jumbos until the airline knows plane-maker Airbus has a permanent fix for faults in the aircraft's wings.

The Middle East airline says they still has reservations about the manufacturer's plans for a stretched version of its new A350 jetliner.  A temporary fix is not good enough for the airliners looking to use the jet.

The chief executive of Airbus says "There will be a permanent fix [for our aircraft]."
