Dancing With the Stars Instant Dance Results: Nancy Exits With Grace

It was a perfect night for J.R. Martinez in the ballroom last night as he earned two 30's.  He and his partner Karina worked hard during the week and J.R. seem to expect the 30's.

On the other end of the spectrum, Nancy Grace struggled last night and is at the bottom of the standings, far behind the other dancers.

Most fans and experts would say that it's Nancy Grace's time to go home tonight.  Let's watch and see.

A nice routine to start off the show.  Complete will all the female professional dancers on the show.

Some results are up next.  Rob, Hope and J.R. are the first stars called up to find out their fate.  The first couple through to the semi-finals is J.R. and Karina.  Also through to the semis is Hope and Maks.  Rob and Cheryl are in jeopardy.

Next we get the infamous Dance Center piece with Jerry Rice, Kenny Mayne and Len. They recap the contestants and how they are doing.

Andrea Bocelli is up next with a great help from Chris Botti on the trumpet.

More Dance Center is followed by the new Michael Jackson Cirque show preview.  Lots of acrobatics and dancing to music from "The King of Pop."

Next we get a special performance from Flo-rida.  He sings "Club Can't Handle Me."

Now we see who joins Rob and Cheryl in the bottom two.  It's going to be Ricki or Nancy.  Heading to the semi-finals will be Ricki and Derek.  Nancy is in the bottom two.

It's down to these two, one is going to the semi-finals.  It will be... Rob and Cheryl.  Nancy is out.

The Muppets perform next week.

"X Factor" Leads Tuesday Night Ratings

A big night for television last night.

The first live performance episode of Fox's "The X Factor" earned the night's top ratings and pushed Fox to an overall win, while the new Tim Allen sitcom "Last Man Standing" slipped 10 percent and "Man Up" plunged 21 percent from its series premiere, according to preliminary numbers.  "Dancing With the Stars' held their own and CBS' programming was also strong.

"The X Factor," on Fox from 8 p.m. to 10:30, drew a 4.3 rating/11 share in the adults 18-49 demographic, with 11.7 million total viewers, which gave the network the highest average rating in the demo for the night. The show was up 10 percent in the ratings.

Things weren't quite as sunny at ABC, where the night kicked off with "Last Man Standing" at 8, which was down 10 percent for a 2.8/8 in the demo and 9.8 million total viewers. The news didn't improve with "Man Up" at 8:30, which fell to a 1.9/5 in the demo and 6.7 million total viewers. The "Dancing With the Stars" results show at 9 drew a 2.5/6 in the demo and 13.7 million total viewers. "Body of Proof" at 10 was flat with a 1.9/5 in the demo and 9.6 million total viewers.

CBS, which was the evening's most-watched network with an average 15.4 million total viewers, saw modest gains. "NCIS" at 8 inched up 3 percent for a 4.0/11 and 19 million total viewers (the highest total viewership of the evening). "NCIS: LA" the following hour enjoyed a 9 percent boost with a 3.7/9 in the demo and 15.8 million total viewers. "Unforgettable" at 10 ran flat with a 2.5/7 in the demo and 11.2 million total viewers.

Dancing With the Stars Broadway Week Results: Chaz, "Baby Don't Go"

The curtain went up on Broadway last night for the remaining couples on Dancing With the Stars.

We had a couple Tony Awards handed out last night by Carrie Ann.  They went to J.R. and Ricki.  We also almost a judge and a professional dancer come to blows when Len awarded Hope and Maks lower than expected scores and blamed it mostly on Maks.  Maks not only took offense to Len saying their routine lacked effort, and picked apart other parts of the routine, he also took offense to how some of the people are getting treated by the judges.  I tend to agree with Maks.

Let's get this results show started.

The encore dance this week is J.R. and Karina with their quickstep.  Just as good as last night.

The first results of the night are for J.R. and Karina.  No surprise here, they are safe.

That result is followed by another performance by Kristin Chenowith.  Some great dancing also with Tony Dovolani and Dasha.  Kristin has a new CD she is out promoting.

More results coming up for Ricki and Nancy.  Ricki and Derek are through to next week and Nancy and Tristan are safe as well.

Next, some more great Broadway style performances.  Corbin Bleu put a lot of work into this number.

Good to see Martina McBride back in the ballroom.  With the CMA Awards coming up, looks like Martina is primed to win some more awards.  Give a dancing assist to Chelsie Hightower and Val on that song.

More eliminations with David Arquette and Chaz.  Chaz had some rough criticism from the judges and he's not happy.  Back next week are David and Kym.  Chaz and Lacey are in jeopardy.

Next, a Halloween themed performance with some kids along with Mark Ballas and Lacey.  Those kids were really good.

Rob and Cheryl and Hope and Maks are still waiting for their results.  Maks is still upset and said he needed to vent a little last night.

Back on the floor next week will be Rob and Cheryl.  Hope and Maks are in jeopardy again.

Our elimination continues tonight with the emotional departure of Chaz and Lacey.

Hope and Maks will be back.

Halloween Week next Monday.

Dancing With the Stars 80's Week Results Show: Carson Exits

Well we all survived the decade of the 80's and we somehow survived a wacky 80's night on Dancing With the Stars last night.

From Carson's wild cheerleader routine to Wham! and Ricki Lake getting some tough criticism from the judges it was a strange, just like the entire decade of the 80's.

Eliminations are tonight and as usual, it's going to come down to fan's votes.

The dance troupe began the night with another tribute to the 80's.  After a couple Madonna songs we are ready to go.

Ricki and Hope are the first two contestants to be called up on stage tonight.  Here come some results.  The first couple safe is Ricki and Derek.  Hope is in jeopardy.

Next a performance by Kelly Clarkson and some more dancing from the pros.  Kelly Clarkson looked better than she has recently.  Kelly has a new album coming out called "Stronger."

On to a special feature named with a girl named Charm who had a rough upbringing.  She beat the odds and with the help of her mother she became a dancer.  She made it through college and gives back by teaching dance to grade school kids.  She gets to perform a dance with Derek and Mark.

Now we get some country with The Band Perry.  Louis and Karina with some nice dancing included.
Rob, J.R. and David on up to find out where they stand next.  J.R. has been good each week, but Rob and David are tied for most improved.  The next safe couple is J.R. and Karina.  David and Kym are in jeopardy.  Rob and Cheryl are safe for another week.

Following another Kelly Clarkson song, we get some more results.  Nancy, Carson and Chaz come forward.  The next couple safe is Chaz and Lacey.  Nancy and Tristan are also safe, that means Carson and Anna are in he bottom three.

Time to see who is going home.  One couple will be safe and that is... David and Kym.  Hope or Carson will be going home.  The final results say Carson is heading on home.

Dancing With the Stars Week 2 Results: Elisabetta is Eliminated

It was quite a show last night.  We had highlights, lowlights, and one of Nancy Grace's headlights making an appearance.

Tonight, we have some musical guests, more pro dance routines and one team will be sent home.

The men kicked off the evening and Tom Bergeron said that they are indeed available for bachlorette parties.

On to the eliminations.  David Arquette and Carson are the first two pulled out.  The first couple saved is Carson and Anna.  David and Kym are in jeopardy.

We get to see and encore dance tonight, and of course it is Ricki and Derek's jive.

Next we get a little tour of the DWTS training studio.

Then the first of the musical guest, The Script.  The Script happens to be one of the only current bands I would actually buy or download a CD of.  Dimitry and Chelsie Hightower were the dancers.

More eliminations.  Next on the floor are Kristin, J.R., and Ricki.  The couples that are safe are Ricki and Derek, of course, Kristin and Mark are also coming back.  No surprise here, J.R. and Karina are also coming back.

At the half-way point of the show they debut this season's Macy's Stars of Dance.  A big production with tons of dancers and props.

The next three couples waiting for their results are Rob Kardashian, Nancy Grace, and Chaz.

Combining the judge's scores with the votes means Rob and Cheryl are safe.  Chaz and Lacey are in jeopardy, and Nancy and Tristian are safe.

Six couples are now safe.

Returning to the ballroom with new single is Demi Lovato.

Three couples still to learn their fate.  Hope and Maks.  Elisabetta and Val and Chynna and Tony.  Coming back next week are Chyna and Tony.  Hope and Maks are also coming back.  Elisabetta and Val are pulled into jeopardy.

One couple wil be brought to safety.  That would be Chaz and Lacey.  Also safe this week, David and Kym.  Elisabetta is eliminated.
